Pier Luigi Ledda
Cultural manager and music collector, he lives and works in Milan. Since 2011 he has been the general manager of the Archivio Storico Ricordi for where he has implemented a strategy focused on the digitalisation of the musical heritage for free consultation through the online Digital Collection, the creation of an international network with cultural and scientific institutions, and the artistic reuse of the heritage. Since 2018, he has been curator of the conversation series “The Music Folder”. Parallel to his work at Ricordi, he teaches in the master’s degree in Music Publishing and Production at IULM in Milan. Over the years, he has curated conferences on sound archives and music events.
Manager culturale e collezionista musicale, vive e lavora a Milano. Dal 2011 è il direttore generale dell’Archivio Storico Ricordi per il quale ha messo in atto una strategia improntata alla digitalizzazione del patrimonio musicale per la libera consultazione attraverso la Collezione Digitale online, alla creazione di un network internazionale con istituzioni culturali e scientifiche, al riuso artistico del patrimonio. Dal 2018 è curatore della serie di conversazioni “The Music Folder”. Parallelamente alla sua attività in Ricordi, insegna nel master in Editoria e produzione musicale dello IULM di Milano. Ha curato negli anni convegni sugli archivi sonori e eventi musicali.
