Mark Everist
Professore di Musica all’Università di Southampton, è autore di nove monografie e oltre 80 articoli pubblicati in riviste scientifiche e raccolte di saggi. Vincitore del premio Solie (2010) e del premo Slim (2011) dell’American Musicological Society, ha ricevuto il titolo di fellow dell’Academia Europaea nel 2012, è stato presidente della Royal Musical Association dal 2011 al 2017, ed è membro corrispondente dell’American Musicological Society dal 2014. Attualmente sta lavorando a due monografie per Oxford University Press: Opérette: The First Twenty-Five Years e Opéra de salon: Societies and Spaces(1850–1875).
