Thomas R. Moore

Thomas R. Moore is a conductor and trombonist with Nadar Ensemble and a researcher at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. As a soloist, he has premiered works at the several international festivals including the Darmstadt New Music Summer Course, //hcmf, ZXZW, Time of Music and Images Sonores. Moore’s research investigates the artistic and socio-economic motivations behind the role of the conductor in new music.
Thomas R. Moore è direttore e trombonista del Nadar Ensemble e ricercatore presso il Royal Conservatoire di Anversa. Come solista, ha eseguito le prime assolute di varie composizioni in festival internazionali come il Darmstad New Music Summer Course, //hcmf, ZXZW, Time of Music e Images Sonores. La ricerca di Moore si concentra sulle implicazioni artistiche e socioeconomiche legate al ruolo del direttore d’orchestra nei repertori contemporanei.
