Stefano Catucci
Stefano Catucci teaches Aesthetics at the Faculty of Architecture of the ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome. He has published writings on German and French thought in the early 20th century and is the author, among others, of an Introduzione a Foucault that has been reprinted several times (Laterza, 2001). He is author of essays and chapters published in journals and edited books devoted to the relationship between aesthetics and architecture. He founded the journal Forme di vita together with Felice Cimatti, Massimo de Carolis and Paolo Virno. He collaborated with the Venice Biennale, Music section, and with the “Play It” Festival, for which he conceived and coordinated the “Stati Generali delle Arti in Italia” (Florence, 7 October 2011). Together with Michele dall’Ongaro, he is the artistic coordinator of Radio3’s broadcasting live program “Concerti del Quirinale”.
Stefano Catucci insegna Estetica presso la Facoltà di Architettura della “Sapienza”, Università di Roma. Ha pubblicato scritti sul pensiero tedesco e francese d’inizio Novecento ed è autore, fra l’altro, di una Introduzione a Foucault più volte ristampata (Laterza, 2001). Ai rapporti fra estetica e architettura ha dedicato numerosi saggi apparsi in riviste specializzate e raccolte. Ha fondato la rivista Forme di vita con Felice Cimatti, Massimo de Carolis e Paolo Virno. Ha collaborato con la Biennale di Venezia, sezione Musica, e con il Festival “Play It”, per il quale ha ideato e coordinato gli “Stati Generali delle Arti in Italia”, svoltisi a Firenze il 7 ottobre 2011. Insieme a Michele dall’Ongaro, è coordinatore artistico dei “Concerti del Quirinale di Radio3”.
